The St. Tammany Early Childhood Ready Start Network is dedicated to fostering the development of cognitive, interpersonal, language and early literacy, and physical development skills in young children through partnerships with Type III early childcare and education centers, Academically Approved Family Child Care homes, and Early Head Start and Head Start programs.

Our Type III centers and Family Child Care homes offer a secure, compassionate, and enriching environment where children embark on a journey of learning, interpersonal development, and holistic growth, laying the groundwork for their lifelong achievements.

Early Steps
The St. Tammany Early Childhood Ready Start Network is dedicated to the development of all children. Early intervention is important to child development. If you have questions or concerns about your child's development, contact Early Steps for ages birth to three at 985-429-1252.

Child Search
Early Childhood Special Education Services are provided throughout the Network to support students who need communication, motor, sensory, cognitive, or interpersonal skills. Contact Child Search to schedule a screening for children ages 3 yrs-5 yrs at 985-898-3345.
